Anthony Chalkley Endowed Scholarship for Math

The Anthony Chalkley Endowed Scholarship was established in memory of a former NVC faculty and staff member. The scholarship supports students making satisfactory academic progress who are enrolled in developmental math classes.

捐款 from NVC faculty and staff enabled the scholarship to reach endowment level this fall and NVC student Janette Martinez became the first recipient of the scholarship.

The unity shown by college employees in contributing to this scholarship exemplifies the college commitment to support students, especially those in mathematics’ completion programs such as, 项目数学路径, 签证中心的2美元.4 million Title V grant from the U.S. Department of Education for Hispanic Serving Institutions.
